Recycled art: the Project | Scartline
Waste Art as a lever for change
SCART's Vision: Creating Art from Waste
SCART, conceived by Maurizio Giani, is a unique project, created in 1998 by Waste Recycling and subsequently acquired by the Hera Group in 2015. Aiming to revitalize materials destined to become waste, SCART has created a wide range of creations, from works of art that celebrate cultural icons to everyday objects, all made exclusively with waste pieces.
Today, the SCART® brand is recognized in Italy and Europe for its exclusive installations, a symbol of a commitment to the circular economy and sustainability.
Collaborations
Together with RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC, for a creative reuse of plastic
With its pioneering vision and ability to inspire, SCART has become a point of reference for RoGUILTLESSPLASTIC exhibitions. This international project aims to push the global creative community to reconsider plastic not as an enemy, but as a resource to be recycled, reused and ennobled.
At the Theatre of Silence with new stories
At Andrea Bocelli's Theatre of Silence, performances are not only about artistic representation, but a challenge to the ephemerality of objects. Renewed by the art of recycling, stage props are filled with new narratives, demonstrating how beauty and functionality can emerge from the forgotten.
Animali
In 2019, the Hera Group and SCART highlighted the theme of sea conservation at Ecomondo, transforming their stand into a lively marine ecosystem. From the 'Giovanni Sperm Whale', a life-size whale, to a diverse assortment of marine species, every element has been created to raise awareness of the environmental threats affecting our oceans.
